Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing but a Numer. The album, released when she only had 15 years old, went Gold. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's musical style, put her in the limelight. In 1996 she worked with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland to release her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. Following the release of this work Aaliyah received international recognition as an R&B performer. Aaliyah appeared alongside legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000), an action and romance film. She started her acting career in minor film and TV performances, but her fame grew during the middle 2000s. Her other noteworthy works comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. Commercials for her show have included big brands, like Volvo. Her home is with her family in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She continues to pursue her acting career.
