She worked as a reporter from the stands of the College World Series and Women's Tennis Association's championships. Flanagan also worked as a journalist for SportsCenter and reported regularly on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers. She's reported on college football, NCAA men's championships, and NCAA playoffs too. In her role as a host on ESPN's SportsCenter she co-hosted Home Depot College Football Awards Roadshows, and an entertainment segment titled "Hollywood highlights".
